Bylaws Provisions

TAE’s Bylaws, ratified at the May 2022 annual meeting, provides for a Program Council to serve as the Board of Director’s programing hub to fulfill the TAE community’s needs. The Program Council serves to develop, coordinate, and provide quality programming for congregants.

The Program Council is comprised of representatives from Brotherhood, Sisterhood, other temple affiliate organizations, the ECC, Religious School, and any other temple committees that develop and/or provide programming for members, such as adult education, social action, and more. Staff and clergy involved in providing programing to congregants may also serve on the committee.

The committee includes a Member of the Board of Directors who serves as a liaison between the Program Council and the Board of Directors and provides a report to the Board at each Board Meeting.
