TAE offers many volunteer opportunities. The rewards of involvement through volunteering speak for themselves. In addition to meeting new people and making new friends, your efforts help TAE be all that it can be. Whether you are looking to join a committee, volunteer in the office, reach out to others in our TAE community during their times of need or participate in acts of Tikkun Olam (healing the world), there is a place for you at TAE.

Committees and Volunteer Opportunities
Religious Practices Committee
Do you have any ideas about our religious services and observance that you would like to share with our clergy? All aspects of the temple’s religious life are discussed, planned, and coordinated in conjunction with the Rabbi and Cantor. The goal is to effectively represent a cross-section of the TAE community and ensure that the congregation’s spiritual needs are met. Contact Religious Practices Committee Chair
Development Committee
Supporting and sustaining our temple financially is the goal of this committee. Our endowment and estate planning programs help ensure the long-term survival of TAE. Other fundraisers add needed dollars to the budget, as well as contribute to the upkeep of our property. Creative ideas and people power are essential to coordinating and maintaining these programs. Membership Committee
As a participant on the TAE Membership Committee, your time, talent and ideas go a long way. You can be part of a working committee that engages new and existing members of TAE to be part of our family, serve as an ambassador to new members, or help out at a Membership event. No matter how you help, you’ll make a big difference as you work with others to create a feeling of connectedness among our temple community. Along the way you’ll feel more connected and you’ll meet some great people! Do something good and join us on the Membership Committee. Contact Membership Committee Chair

Outreach Committee
The goal of the Outreach Committee is to welcome interfaith couples and individuals considering conversion into the TAE community by offering information, mentoring, and other forms of support. Past activities have included writing columns in the TAE newsletter (Bazman), creating and distributing pamphlets about holiday rituals, and facilitating interfaith workshops. As a member of this committee, you are free to help create ways to help in this effort. Contact Outreach Committee Chair
Social Action Committee
The Social Action Committee is committed to Tikkun Olam through its many ongoing projects. It is a place to make a difference in our world at a time when people need to come together to help those who are less fortunate. Visit the Social Action page. Contact Social Action Committee Chair
Finance Commitee
