Kulanu Working Groups

ADL KULANU WORKING GROUP NOW FORMING

Temple Adat Elohim has been selected by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) to participate in their new Kulanu program. Kulanu is a self-directed program led by ADL that empowers synagogue communities to fight against antisemitism.

We are currently putting together a diverse working group, which will be composed of seven to ten interested TAE congregants to develop programming to combat rising antisemitism. Over the coming months, the working group will meet to plan education and/or advocacy events for our fellow congregants and community members using existing ADL resources.

In 2023, our working group will plan two events – one within TAE and one for the broader community. Our goals for these programs include building a basic understanding of the origins of antisemitism, learning to identify both obvious, and subtle examples of antisemitism, and empowering our community to combat it.

Our first meeting will be on January 22, at 3:00 p.m.

If you are interested in learning more or joining the working group, please email socialaction@adatelohim.com.
