It’s not every day you can save a life!!!
We will be holding a blood drive on our campus on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 8:45 AM – 1:30 PM at Temple Etz Chaim. Advance appointments are required. All donors will be required to wear a mask and encouraged to help maintain social distancing. To schedule an appointment, please contact Joyce Bloom at jbloom1967@gmail.com or (818) 326-0122.
Temple Adat Elohim has a rich and wonderful history of fulfilling Mitzvot. For years, in association with Temple Etz Chaim, we have supported Vitalant (formerly United Blood Services) by procuring generous donations of blood from our respective congregant donors during our fall and spring blood drives.
Each time you donate, you are a HERO –– providing life-saving blood to those who find themselves in sudden and dire need. Even if you have never donated blood before, PLEASE consider doing this special deed. To save a life is the ultimate mitzvah.
Throughout the year we participate in blood drives.
Thank you to all of our past donors!!! We have collected over 80 pints of blood at each of our drives. In November, 2018 we collected over 110 pints of blood. Less than 3 days later, our community experienced a horrific event sending many to the hospital. Your donations helped ensure that needed blood was immediately available.
Invite your friends to join you!
Take a moment and watch donors tell you why they donate blood.
