Relationships and Jewish Values: Let’s Talk
In consultation with two therapists and a medical doctor, we are introducing an important and inspiring curriculum this year: “Relationships and Jewish Values: Let’s Talk.” The class will be interactive, led in a seminar style by professionals specializing in the field of adolescence.
The seminars will include topics such as Values, Gender and Sexual Identities, Sex, Torah and Relationships, Body Image and the Media, Sex in the Media, Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships, Communication and Decision Making, and Dealing with Rejection.
Additionally, the curriculum will enable students to discover themselves through open and honest discussions. They will explore different social action programs and how they can make an earnest difference in the world. Students will also have opportunities to speak with older generations, discover their wisdom, and share in their experiences.
For all activities, the students are given the opportunity to talk in an open and non-judgmental environment.
