Become a Madrich/a – Make a Difference!
Madrichim Leadership Program
Madrichim are mentors and role models who help guide our younger students in Religious School. Our goal is to create a leadership program that helps our youth learn, grow, and build confidence while strengthening their connection to the Jewish community and their Jewish identity.
If you are in 8th grade or above, enrolled in our Religious School, and love making a difference, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Madrichim assist teachers with planning, teaching, and motivating students. Submit an application »
Expectations for Madrichim
- Serve as positive role models for younger students
- Demonstrate leadership, respect, and Jewish values
- Dress and behave appropriately
- Be engaged and present during classes
- Support students and teachers in the classroom
- Help lead activities, discussions, and portions of class

Commitment to Jewish Learning
- Madrichim are expected to continue their Jewish learning through participation in Post B’nai mitzvah education and youth programming
- Active participation helps madrichim strengthen their leadership skills and Jewish identity
- Because madrichim are guides and role models, their involvement demonstrates the importance of Jewish learning and community engagement
Post B’nai Mitzvah Education Participation
- Participation in Post B’nai Mitzvah education is an important part of the Madrichim Leadership Program
