ECC Morning Shabbat Services

MORNING SCHEDULE –
Friday mornings, from 9:30 -10:00 AM, in the Sanctuary *

* Please note: The schedule may change due to school closures and holidays. Please feel free to reach out to Lindsay at LWozniak@AdatElohim.com or (805) 497-6920 to confirm beforehand if you’d like to join us.

Every Friday morning while the ECC is in session,  teachers bring their children to the Sanctuary for a very lively, fun, and engaging Tot Shabbat Service led by our “Silly Cantor” and “Funny Rabbi.” They sing songs, dance to the music, and recite Shabbat prayers.

Each week, our teachers select a “Shabbat Star” from each classroom. During this service the Shabbat Stars are brought onto the bimah to say kiddush with their special guests. It is a wonderful experience for the children as well as parents, grandparents, friends, and relatives who wish to join!

Our Baby & Me class also joins us. This service is open to all family members and those interested in joining our school.

Tot Shabbat Evening Services

EVENING SCHEDULE –
Selected Friday evenings, from 6:00 – 6:30 PM, in the Sanctuary. *

* Usually, an ECC classroom hosts this service. The hosting ECC class will have the opportunity to go on the Bimah (stage) to sing one or two Shababt songs.

This Shabbat service is designed for preschool-aged children and their parents. It provides an opportunity for young children to experience a fun, age-appropriate service that includes singing and dancing. This is the perfect way for young children to get acquainted with Jewish traditions! There is a delicious cookie Shabbat Oneg follows the service.
