At Temple Adat Elohim, we believe engaging children in Jewish tradition and culture is important.
We offer fun, child-friendly Shabbat services led by Rabbi Diamond and Cantor Shukiar. These services are filled with singing, dancing, blessings, and community connection.
Open to all current and prospective families!
ECC Morning Shabbat Services
Friday mornings, 9:30–10:00 AM, in the Sanctuary*
Every Friday morning while ECC is in session, teachers bring their children to the Sanctuary for a lively and engaging Tot Shabbat service led by our “Silly Cantor” and “Funny Rabbi.”
Children sing songs, dance to the music, and recite Shabbat prayers.
“Shabbat Stars” from each classroom are invited onto the bimah to say kiddush with their special guests. It is a wonderful experience for children, parents, grandparents, friends, and relatives.
Our Baby & Me class also joins us. This service is open to all family members and those interested in joining our school.

Evening Tot Shabbat Family Services
Selected Friday Evenings
- 5:30–6:00 PM: Tot Shabbat Service
- 6:00–7:00 PM: ECC Dinner and Shabbat Oneg
Families with preschool-age children are invited to our engaging, child-friendly Shabbat service led by Rabbi Diamond and Cantor Shukiar.
Filled with singing, dancing, and community connection, many services feature an ECC classroom sharing a Shabbat song they have been learning.
After the service, ECC families are invited to enjoy dinner (bring your own or pre-order*) and a sweet Shabbat Oneg featuring cookies and chocolate-chip challah.

- August 14, 2026: Tot Shabbat at 4:30 PM, followed by Chili Showdown & Playtime at 5:00 PM
- September 25, 2026: ECC Welcome Back Evening Family & Tot Shabbat
