Gallant-Schiff Infant Center

Welcome to Temple Adat Elohim Gallant-Schiff Infant Center (ages 6 weeks – 18 months)!

Our infant center runs on a rolling waitlist and typically has a waitlist usually around 1+ year out, so please reach out to tour and be put on the list at least 12 months in advance, before your desired start date.

Welcome!

Thank you so much for your interest in our school! We would like to congratulate you on reaching an exciting milestone in your child’s educational journey. We know what an important decision this is for our families and we are thrilled you are considering our school and community as a potential fit for your family.

HOW TO APPLY TO THE INFANT CENTER

  • STEP 1: Tour our ECC ~1 year prior for Infant Center and be put on the waitlist for your desired start date
  • STEP 2: Apply Online*
  • STEP 3: We will email you to confirm when a space opens, with instructions to officially enroll

*ECC applications are accepted online through March 1, prior to the school year you would like to start. IC apps are accepted up to 1 year prior. Please note that an application does not guarantee admissions into our school. Spaces open up in our infant center when a currently enrolled student turns 18 months old and moves up to the ECC toddler class. On occasion, this timeline is extended if the child needs extra time before moving up to the next class, which would delay your start time. This is not common, but should we need to delay your start time, we will let you know as soon as possible. Until enrollment is complete, no spaces are guaranteed. Thank you for your understanding.

Infant Center Details

Our Infant Center has a maximum of 12 babies on any given day. We have created a warm, loving, intimate “home-away-from-home”, with an open door policy for parents to come visit their children anytime.

We have a strong home:school connection, and will be sending updates on your baby’s feeding, diapering, and sleep details, in real time, throughout the day, along with lots of photos and videos, through the Brightwheel app, so you get a peek into your child’s day, and to bring a smile to your face, so you don’t miss out on any milestones. You can also message your teachers via the app anytime, to stay connected!

Before your child starts you will fill out a questionnaire and come in for an Infant Intake. At the intake, you will go over with the teachers, your child’s likes/dislike

s, daily routine/schedule, and all of the important information about your child that they will need.

We have new infants starting all throughout the year, as currently enrolled babies turn 18 months old and move up to the toddler classroom in the ECC, opening a new space in the infant center.

If a space doesn’t open up in our Infant Center, we still invite you to Apply Online for our ECC Program (18 months-6yrs old). You can go ahead and select the school year in which your child would turn 18 months, and note the desired start date at 18months old, so we have you in that candidate pool, for when we pull the applicant list and go over admissions decisions for the ECC. This should be done by March 1 to the school year you are applying for.
