Welcome to youth group! My name is Carolyn Cunningham and I am the youth advisor for Temple Adat Elohim. You may know me as I have taught in the preschool as well as Hebrew school for the last 21 years. We have 3 youth groups. The fourth and fifth grade is called MAETY, sixth through eighth is called JAETY and ninth through twelfth is called AETY.
I was one of the founding members of AETY back in 1996 when we only had 13 members. We wanted to form a group that was for the youth and find fun experiences that incorporated Judaism, friends, fun, and tikkun olam (repairing the world).
When I was asked to be the youth advisor, I was so excited to get to share my love and excitement for youth group and hope to bring a lot of those elements back.
