Social Action General Fund
Donations to this fund help underwrite the costs of Social Action activities at Temple Adat Elohim. These activities raise awareness and encourage the participation of our temple community in programs designed to help meet the needs of those in need. The work benefits various charities in both the Jewish and secular communities. Our annual Mitzvah Day and other programs during the year support the work of organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Interface Children and Family Services, Many Mansions, Safe Passage Youth, Adelante Conejo Communidad, Manna Conejo Food Pantry, Food Share, Ronald McDonald House, American Cancer Society Relay for LIfe, My Stuff Bags, Operation Gratitude, Support for the Kids and more. They also include a special social action program for families through Club Chesed and our semi-annual blood drive. Funds donated to the Social Action – General Fund are used for these other similar purposes. In the very unlikely event that the fund is no longer needed for these purposes at some time in the future, any remaining money at that time would be moved to the temple contingency fund to provide flexibility to fund needs as they arise. For information please email: email@example.com.
Social Action – Holiday Dinner Fund
Donations to this fund help underwrite the costs of the annual Christmas Day holiday dinner hosted by TAE. Through the generous support of temple members, vendors in our community and scores of TAE volunteers, we provide a hot meal and a festive environment in which to share the holidays for approximately 250 guests each Christmas Day. The social hall is decorated, hot fresh food is served, volunteer singers sing, and toys and gifts are distributed. This annual event dates back to the early 90’s when it was started by a single member our congregation. Today it is a fun and spirited event to serve those who may not have a place to go on Christmas Day. In the very unlikely event that we stop hosting the dinner in the future, any remaining money in this fund would be moved to the Social Action General Fund to support other TAE social action programs.
Youth Program Fund
This fund benefits our youth department by providing scholarships to events, camps and Israel programs. It allows all youth to have access to the programs and activities at Temple.
Past Presidents’ Educational Endowment Fund

Prayer Book Fund
