This Shabbat service is designed for preschool-aged children and their parents. It provides an opportunity for young children to experience a fun, age-appropriate service that includes singing and dancing. This is the perfect way for young children to get acquainted with Jewish traditions! There is a delicious cookie Shabbat Oneg following the service.

One of our favorite TAE traditions, Starlight Shabbat is part of our beloved Summer Shabbat Series. These outdoor services offer a refreshing change of pace and have become a seasonal highlight for many congregants. In our beautiful courtyard, we gather in the fresh air to pray, sing, and celebrate as the sun sets. With joyful music, a relaxed atmosphere, and the spirit of community all around, Starlight Shabbat captures the magic of summer.

This verse establishes the key traditions of Purim: celebrating with feasting, joy, sharing food (mishloach manot), and giving charity (matanot la’evyonim). It reflects the transformation from danger to deliverance, which is the essence of Purim.

Temple Adat Elohim’s Kulanu Team is a small group of TAE congregants working together to develop programs to fight rising antisemitism. We are seeking new members to bring fresh ideas for educational and/or advocacy initiatives for our congregation, as well as the local community.
