7:00 p.m. – S’lichot Program
8:00 p.m. – Havdalah
8:15 p.m. – Healing Service

In-person only, tickets NOT required

S’lichot, the Hebrew word meaning ‘forgiveness’ refers to the special penitential prayers recited by Jews through the High Holy Days. The S’lichot service, held the Shabbat before Rosh Hashanah, gets us ready for the High Holy Days. It is a time where we seek meaning and healing by beginning the reflective process so we may improve our character over the Ten Days of Repentance.

  • 7:00 p.m. – S’lichot Program
  • 8:00 p.m. – Havdalah
  • 8:15 p.m. – Healing Service

During our S’lichot service, Rabbi Diamond and Cantor Shukiar will lead us through readings and prayers of healing. The Torah mantles will be changed to white in preparation for the High Holy Days and Rabbi Diamond and Cantor Shukiar will be wearing their white robes for the first time this year. The TAE Chorale will be joining this special service.

Coming Home

This year, we will be asking a deep question that impacts the way we view and treat the people around us: Where do we feel at home?

As we return to our TAE home, we will reflect on how we can create a sense of home for ourselves and others.
