Every Voice, Every Vote Campaign
The Reform Jewish Movement’s Campaign to Protect, Expand, and Strengthen Democracy
POSTCARD CAMPAIGN
Order your postcards by Thursday, June 20, 2024! Please email SocialAction@adatelohim.com indicating how many sets of 30 postcards you would like to receive.
Join TAE in making a difference with the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism’s postcard campaign, Every Voice, Every Vote! We’re rallying to urge voters to get out and vote, and we need your help. Our postcard kits come in sets of 30, complete with instructions. All you need to add are the stamps! You’ll have 30 days to complete your postcards, making it easy to fit into your schedule.
Our 2024 campaign is a nonpartisan, volunteer-led campaign that will work to ensure all have an equal say in decisions that impact their lives.
In 2024, we must come together once again to break down the barriers set up by voter suppression laws that overwhelmingly impact BIPOC, people who are economically disenfranchised, people with disabilities, young people, and elderly voters. By following the lead of those most impacted, we will work together to create a Movement, and a country, committed to an equitable democracy that reflects our nation’s vibrant diversity. By working with our congregations and communities, we will prove once more that we’re stronger when we work together.
This year, we come together to learn how we can build a democracy that works for everyone and commit to getting the vote out.
How can you get involved?
It takes less than two minutes to register to vote at vote.org. Be prepared with your driver’s license number or social security number. You will be asked to provide one or the other as well as other basic information like your current address. Also, you will be asked to select a party affiliation but you have the option to choose “None.”
To vote in California, you must be registered 15 days prior to the election.
At vote.org you also can check whether your registration is still active, request an absentee ballot (though all California voters will get one automatically and they do not require postage to return the ballot), find the location of your polling place and request text message reminders to vote. Go to vote.org today and share it with your friends!
We would like TAE to be a 100% voting congregation.
ENCOURAGE…
Your Friends and Relatives Throughout the Country to Register to Vote!
Don’t assume that everyone is registered. Reach out and encourage them to register.

We will be sharing resources in future newsletters.
COMBAT VOTER SUPRESSION…
Voter suppression has long plagued the U.S. election system, particularly impacting communities of color. Today, underrepresented communities continue the fight for equal access to the ballot.
In conjunction with the Union of Reform Judaism Religious Action Center (RAC), we are working with a coalition to achieve universal voter access and encourage universal participation across the country. You can read more about combating voter suppression by clicking here.
As part of this effort, we will be sending postcards to people who have unknowingly been dropped from the voting rolls in their states and will be unable to vote if they do not re-register. If you are interested in sending postcards, please send an email to socialaction@adatelohim.com. You will be provided with names, addresses and a short script. The postcards will be available soon and the details will be in the TAE weekly e-news.
ENGAGE…
Student Voters!
The RAC has another initiative aimed at increasing the number of younger voters who register and vote. At TAE, we are joining this effort and are looking for 16-30 year olds who would like to participate in this campaign. Interested individuals can send an email to socialaction@adatelohim.com.
What does the campaign entail?
All of this work is non-partisian.
This campaign has three areas of focus:
1. Mobilizing our voters: With outreach in our congregations and communities, our goal is 100 percent voter participation. We will be providing information to assist people in registering to vote and sending in their ballots.
2. Combating voter suppression: We’re working with coalition to achieve universal voter access and encourage universal participation. We will be sending postcards and making calls to people in other states who have been previously registered but have fallen off the registration list so that they can re-register. If you would like to participate send an email to socialaction@adatelohim.com.
3. Engaging student voters: Are you between 16-30? Would you like to make a difference by helping your peers register to vote? If so, please contact socialaction@adatelohim.com. We are convening a group to make this happen to significantly increase the number of young voters.
