Sukkot

Sukkot begins at sundown on Friday, September 25, and ends at nightfall on Friday, October 2.

Join us as we celebrate Sukkot, a joyful festival that marks the fall harvest and commemorates the Israelites’ 40-year journey through the desert. It is a time of gratitude, gathering, and belonging as we dwell together under the shelter of the Sukkah.

From building our community Sukkah to celebrating Shabbat together, there are many ways to gather, connect, and belong this Sukkot.

Preschool-Age Shabbat Service

5:30 PM — Sing, dance, and shake your way into Shabbat with Rabbi Diamond and Cantor Shukiar. Invite your family and friends and join us for this fun service under the sukkah, followed by a community dinner.

Pre-order a dinner or bring your own to enjoy under the Sukkah! Preorders are due by September 22.

Community Dinner

6:00 PM — Bring your own dinner and join fellow congregants for an evening of connection, community, and celebration.

Shabbat Service

7:00 PM — Celebrate Shabbat in the Sukkah, surrounded by community and tradition. Gathering together in the Sukkah reminds us that we belong to something larger than ourselves. This service will also be livestreamed.

Mobile Planetarium for Youth + Sleepover (Grades 6-12)

8:00 PM — After Shabbat services, journey through the night sky inside our mobile planetarium, just like the open roof of a sukkah. 6th-12th graders are invited to stay for a fun sleepover! Learn more •
