Mishloach Manot

Mishloach Manot is a time-honored practice of gift-giving and exchanging that is reminiscent of the joyous days of Esther and Mordechai. This tradition fosters community spirit, friendship, and unity.

As we navigate challenging times around the world, it’s more important than ever to connect with each other. This year, spread some joy by showing your TAE friends and family you’re thinking of them by participating in the TAE Mishloach Manot program! Let’s make this Purim a celebration of togetherness and warmth. Come join in the fun!

💗 When you participate in our Mishloach Manot program, you are also helping Temple Adat Elohim! 💗

Participate in the Mishloach Manot program by Friday, March 1, 2024!

How the Mishloach Manot program works:

Every TAE family and staff member receives one Mishloach Manot gift accompanied by a personalized letter. This letter will list the names of all individuals or families who contributed to their Mishloach Manot. Traditionally, it’s encouraged to give at least two gifts every Purim to share in the spirit of the holiday.

  • How to Participate: When you participate in the Mishloach Manot program, your name will be included in designated personal letters. To participate, please complete our online form by clicking on the link below, log in, and complete the form (click here for login instructions).

🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 You will have the flexibility to select specific people, reciprocate to anyone who sends you a Mishloach Manot message, or extend your greetings to the entire TAE and ECC community, including all families, teachers, and staff.

  • Reciprocity: If you want to ensure that anyone who contributes to your Mishloach Manot gift will automatically receive one from you in return, this is the perfect option for you! When completing the online form, be sure to select one of the reciprocity options (options 2 and 3)!
  • Personalized Letters: By participating in our Mishloach Manot program, your name will be included on the personalized letters sent to recipients based on your selections, ensuring they are aware of your thoughtful gesture.
  • Cost: This heartfelt exchange begins with a first tribute of $18. Each additional tribute costs an additional $3 (with a cap of $360). For those wishing to to acknowledge everyone in our community, there is a “Send to All,” option for $360.Participate in our Mishloach Manot Program – Link available soon
