Mishloach Manot

Mishloach Manot 2026 | Purim Gift Bags & Greetings

Celebrate Purim with the joy of giving! 🎭

Purim invites us to choose joy, generosity, and connection. Temple Adat Elohim’s Mishloach Manot program makes it easy to send Purim gift bags and heartfelt greetings to your TAE and ECC community—reminding one another that no one is alone.

What Are Mishloach Manot?

Mishloach Manot are gifts of food and treats traditionally shared with friends, family, and those in need during Purim. This mitzvah (commandment) comes from the Book of Esther (9:22), which teaches us to “send portions to one another” and support those in need. This meaningful tradition fosters community spirit, friendship, and unity. 🤝

Why Participate in Temple Adat Elohim’s Mishloach Manot Program?

  • ✔️ Celebrate your family and friends with Purim treats and blessings.
  • ✔️ Reciprocate to those who celebrate you and strengthen connections.
  • ✔️ Share the giving spirit with the entire Temple Adat Elohim community.

In a world facing conflict, rising antisemitism, and deep division, small acts of kindness matter more than ever. Sending Mishloach Manot is a meaningful way to say: “I see you, I care about you, and we are part of something bigger.” 💗

This Purim, help us bring more light, laughter, and love to our community. By participating in Temple Adat Elohim’s Mishloach Manot, you help ensure that every TAE household feels supported and connected—while strengthening our vibrant Jewish community.

How the Mishloach Manot Program Works

💕 Every TAE family and staff member receives one Mishloach Manot gift accompanied by a personalized letter. This letter lists the names of all individuals or families who contributed to their Mishloach Manot.

💕 We encourage all families to participate by selecting specific TAE congregants (option 1), reciprocate to anyone sending you a message (option 2 and 3), or extend your Purim greetings to the entire TAE community—families, teachers, and staff (option 4).

💕 Traditionally, it is encouraged to give at least two gifts every Purim to share in the spirit of the holiday.
