A Sacred Beginning: Reflection, Renewal, and Belonging
💫 Selichot: Saturday, September 13, 2025
📍 Sanctuary
🕖 7:00 PM
The observation of Selichot, the traditional prayers recited in the days leading up to Rosh Hashanah, is one of the most inspirational and meaningful services of the High Holy Days season.
To understand the profound concept of forgiveness, we seek ways to change, reflect, and renew ourselves with others and with God. This sacred season invites us not only to look inward but also to reach outward.
We find comfort, connection, and strength within our community.
Through shared liturgy, powerful rituals, and communal worship, we are reminded that we do not walk this path alone. Selichot nurtures a deep sense of belonging, where each of us is embraced and has a place in the circle of healing and hope.
During our Selichot service:
- Witness the meaningful ritual of changing the Torah covers to white
- Participate in special readings led by congregants
- Receive a private blessing from our clergy on the bimah
🤝 Join us for this sacred evening of reflection, connection, and renewal as we prepare our hearts and spirits for the High Holy Days.
