Do you have old coats or winter clothes in your closets? Winter is here. Reclaim some closet space and help a foster youth stay warm this winter by donating them.
The Coats for Casa event collects gently used winter clothes such as coats, jackets, sweaters, hoodies, mittens/gloves, winter hats and scarves to help foster youth at Casa Pacifica stay warm during the chilly months.
Casa Pacifica is an organization that offers to foster youth services that include emergency shelter, medical assistance and other community-based interventions. Coats of all sizes are needed.

TAE member Rick Winters of Winters Financial Group and Lydia Gable of Compass Real Estate have teamed up to host the 10th Annual Coats for Casa charity event on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. at Three Springs Park in Westlake Village.

For many years we have received toy donations from a toy company to be given out during our Holiday Dinnertaking place on Christmas Day, but this year they are not able to help us.
Please reach out to your friends and ask them to make a donation so we have toys and books to give out at the Holiday Dinner and make this even magical for all.
Drop off your donations in the donation box located in front of the reception desk in the Temple office by December 22.
Collecting Gently Used Women’s Handbags
August 15, 2019 – September 13, 2019
The Women’s Interfaith Network will be collecting gently used handbags which will be filled with toiletries and distributed to homeless women. Please drop donations in the box in the temple office. Contact socialaction@adatelohim.com with any questions.
From July 1-July 15, the interfaith community will be collecting supplies to make welcome baskets for the 40 new families moving into a new Many Mansions facility-Ormond Villas in Oxnard (low income housing for Veterans.) In August, we will come together to make the baskets.
Purchase the items. You can also purchase them online and have them delivered directly to TAE between July 1-15. Then instructions are in the sign -up link.
Drop off your items in the box in the TAE office from July 1-15.
Join us to put together the baskets on August 5 at 7:00pm in the social hall.
Manna is a local food panty that offers free groceries and support services to people whose limited incomes makes it difficult to provide adequate healthy food for their families.
Due to a significant increase in need (related to the government shutdown) the items listed below are needed to fill the food kitchens. Donated items are given to Manna – The Conejo Valley Food Bank.
Canned Tomato – Diced, Sliced, Stewed
Canned Spaghetti – Ravioli
Canned Fruit
Canned Soup-Beef Barley, Cream of (Tomato, Chicken or Vegetable)
Canned Spaghetti Sauce
Peanut Butter
Uncooked Rice
Canned Chili (Stew)
Hot Cereal
Pancake Mix
*Additional most needed items are tuna, beans, vegetables, and toiletries. No glass containers, please.
**Food does not need to be Kosher.
***Please save and donate empty egg cartons as well as non-perishable food. (Egg cartons are used daily to provide safe travel for eggs from Manna to home.)
