Brotherhood General Meetings
On the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm, all Brotherhood members are welcome to join us in the Chosen Cup.
On the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm, all TAE men are encouraged to get together for a night of socializing over your favorite board games, card games, sporting events and more! We meet off-site at a member’s home. To sign up as a host or for more information, contact Bob Salfi.
Men’s Torah Study
This is an opportunity to enhance our spiritual growth in a low key enjoyable atmosphere. Brotherhood members actively participate in Torah Study on Monday nights at 7:00PM. Join us as we visit our ancient texts. Led by lay members of the temple congregation. No prior experience with Torah study is necessary to attend and benefit from this program.
Mitzvah Day Project
Each year the Brotherhood undertakes a special project for TAE’s annual Mitzvah Day. These joyful tasks have included painting classrooms, re-striping curbs, and various jobs for The Rain Project, a transitional home for families in need in Camarillo.
New TAE members enjoy their first year in Brotherhood with a free membership. Guys, come and join us!

TAE Sunday Morning Speaker Series
Featuring Mr. Max Copenhagen,
Spokesman the Ventura County Civil Grand Jury
Open to the entire TAE community
Sunday, September 15 at 9:15 a.m.
Mr. Max Copenhagen will speak on The Rewards and Challenges in Serving on a Civil Grand Jury. We’ve all heard of grand juries, but mostly within the criminal context. Mr. Copenhagen’s talk will focus on civil grand juries. As an aside, our own Larry Levine has begun a term on Ventura County’s Civil Grand Jury—thanks Larry for arranging for Mr. Copenhagen to speak.
The event begins in the Social Hall at 9:15 a.m. with a brunch that includes fruit, yogurt, granola, lox, bagels, cream cheese, and other tasty goodies. To help defray the cost of the brunch, there is a suggested donation of $5. Mr. Copenhagen will begin his presentation at about 9:45 a.m.
This is the first Sunday morning speaker event of the program year, and it will also provide an opportunity to meet and get acquainted with your new … and old … TAE brothers.
Please RSVP to help determine our brunch requirements. Please RSVP to Bob Salfi – email@example.com. PLEASE ADD “RSVP” TO THE SUBJECT LINE.
