Temple Adat Elohim is delighted to welcome Cantor Becky Mann, one of the brightest voices of a new generation of Jewish songwriters. Through inspiring music, heartfelt prayer, and meaningful worship, Becky creates powerful Jewish experiences that connect communities and elevate sacred moments.
About Becky
Becky serves as the Associate Cantor at Temple Israel of Westport, Connecticut, while also visiting Jewish communities across the country as a touring Artist-in-Residence. Through worship, concerts, and workshops, she shares her original music and passion for building Jewish community.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Becky earned her degree in Jewish Sacred Music from Indiana University before receiving her Master of Sacred Music and cantorial ordination from the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music at Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion in New York.
Becky has served the Jewish community as a songleader, music teacher, preschool teacher, choir director, and member of the leadership team at the URJ 6 Points Creative Arts Academy, inspiring the next generation through music and joyful Jewish experiences.
Composer & Recording Artist
A highly commissioned composer, Becky has written music for cantors, choirs, camps, and congregations throughout North America. Her compositions have been featured in worship services, workshops, and concerts at American Conference of Cantors conventions and Union for Reform Judaism conferences.
Her music has been published in anthologies by Transcontinental Music Publications and the Cantors Assembly, including Ruach 5777, Ilu Finu, High Holy Days Anthology, Manginot, and The Complete Shireinu.
In 2026, Becky released her debut album, Captives of Hope, available wherever music is streamed.
