Becca and her family joined Temple Adat Elohim in 2014 upon moving to Thousand Oaks from Los Angeles. Her son attended TAE Early Childhood Center and is now a student in Religious School. Becca has previously served on the Temple Board as Mishpaha Co-President and most recently as co-chair of Kadima Committee. Before coming to TAE, Becca worked for Wilshire Boulevard Temple for 13 years in multiple capacities including: Associate Camp Director, Development Associate, Membership Director and Database Administrator.
Before her tenure at Wilshire Boulevard Temple, Becca worked at a private school in Los Angeles that served students from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
Becca earned her B.A. in Child Development. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, seeing movies, watching mindless TV, journaling, coloring and doing crafts.
Her favorite natural wonder is a rainbow and one of her most powerful Jewish memories (other than summer camp) was when she saw Yosemite for the first time as a chaperone riding a bus with her 40 middle school students chattering in the background. As the bus emerged from a tunnel the view stretched before them was the expanse of the magnificent Yosemite Valley. That was the moment time stopped, for just a tiny beat, and she realized whether you call it G-d, a higher power, or nature that there is something in the universe greater than we are.
