Soul Journey
Looking for a life-changing experience? New Mussar classes are forming! Mussar practice creates the possibility of, "making the heart feel what the intellect already understands." Experience the unique transformation that is accessible though this accounting of the soul and ethical practice. Mussar provides a powerful system for personal and spiritual growth. Rooted in ancient tradition, Mussar speaks ever more clearly to our modern world. Hundreds of our congregants have felt the impact of Mussar through one-time learning opportunities and ongoing study and practice.
For those just beginning the journey, we have both a Monday evening and a Tuesday morning Mussar va’ad (group). Participants discover and work on their own “soul curriculum” through study, meditation, learning with a partner, and practice. No prior experience in Mussar or Judaism is necessary. Groups meet every other week, over the course of 13 weeks. Class size is limited and there is a $100 fee per person.

Advanced Practice In Conscious Living
Mussar in Action is a 26 session program that addresses an enduring issue that faces every Mussar student: how to sustain the process. Mussar in Action supplies a framework of resources, guidance, encouragement and support for that very purpose. The course explores 12 crucial middot as illuminated in the modern Mussar classic Alei Shur, written by the Mussar giant Rav Shlomo Worbe. Prerequiste Season of Mussar I & II. Cost: $300
