Join us and become part of Temple Adat Elohim’s Sisterhood! We are a group of 300+ amazing and unique women, and a part of the worldwide organization, Women of Reform Judaism. TAE Sisterhood is comprised of women of all ages: single, married, widow, divorced … mothers, daughters, grandmothers and granddaughters.
Ruach
RUACH is an integral part of Sisterhood, focused on connecting women who have preschool and religious school-aged children. It is designed to provide an opportunity to make lasting friendships with other women and enhance your personal experience at TAE. For more information about Ruach, please contact Cindy Brand.
Our Sisterhood is a member of the Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), a large and international organization with 600 affiliates and more than 100,000 members in thirteen countries. When you join Sisterhood you become a member of WRJ. Our Sisterhood is in District 24; also know as WRJ Pacific District. Through our afflation, we support Jewish and humanitarian interests in North America, Israel, and around the world.
When You Become a Member of Sisterhood:
- You are supporting your own congregation, its religious school, facilities and its programs.
- You are helping to educate Rabbis, Cantors, teachers, and Jewish communal workers.
- Your are aligning yourself with women like yourself throughout the world, in the United States, Canada, and other countries including Israel.
- You are making a commitment to tomorrow; to the survival of Jews and Judaism in America, Israel and around the world.
Dues are currently $42 per year. We also have a L’Dor V’Dor (mother & teenage daughter) category for $66, and to become a Patron member the cost is $75. The membership year is from July 1st to June 30th.
