Our Life Cycle Events

Baby Namings

Our sanctuary can be scheduled for the naming of your child during a Shabbat Service or privately. To arrange for this to happen, call our Clergy assistant and arrange a meeting with one of our clergy.

B'nai Mitzvah

The process of becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah is not easy. It requires years of study and practice. Yet, Bar/Bat Mitzvah is an age, not an event. It is a status that you achieve by learning to lead a service, but even more so, it is a title you earn by understanding the importance of community and mitzvot (sacred obligations). To learn more on how to start this journey, contact our Religious School Director, Marci Goldberg at 805-497-7101 Ext. 209.

Under our custom made chuppah we have celebrated many weddings for temple members. If you would to know more about how to schedule this special occasion at our temple, contact our clergy assistant to make an appointment with one of our Rabbis.

Memorial Services

Temple members who suffer the lose of a family member may ask to use the sanctuary for their memorial service. Subject to availability, we offer a warm environment for the family in a familiar setting. Contact the temple office to check availability.

The process of conversion is not taken lightly. It is a journey that some people take years to complete, often alone and sometimes with family. Our Rabbi's take personal interest in and care deeply about your soul path. If your would like to begin your journey to conversion or meet with a rabbi to discuss your questions, contact the temple office.
