We at Temple Adat Elohim place a strong value on the importance of providing our children with enriching Jewish experiences, and therefore are pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for Jewish camps and other Judaic educational opportunities. These grants are made possible by donations to the Marsha Fayne Campership Fund and other fundraising activities of the Sisterhood of TAE.

Children in grades 4–12 can apply to receive camperships for Jewish residential and day camps. To qualify for a scholarship, we require that the student’s family belongs to the temple. Information required includes:

• Why you are interested in attending this particular Jewish program (to be written by the camper).
• Camper’s participation in Temple Adat Elohim activities and Jewish life.
• Past camp experience, if applicable.
• Why you are applying for this scholarship.
• The name and address of the program, location, dates and cost.
• A description of the program.

Applications and Grant requests should be turned in at the temple office, ATTN: Campership Committee. The applications are available at the temple office or just click above.

NOTE: Children participating in the following activities are requested to sign an attendance sheet, to insure that they receive credit towards their scholarship:

You will be notified if your child receives a grant, and all checks will be sent directly to the program. The deadline for applying for scholarships for Summer 2011 programs is Friday, January 28th; and for all other programs at least 6 weeks in advance. A confirmation email confirming our receipt of your application will be sent out by Monday, January 31st.
