Additional Giving Opportunities (Qualifies for Annual Chai Campaign)

Donations to the Chai Annual Campaign assist TAE to fulfill our core value of Tikun Olam; healing and repairing the world by enriching the TAE Community and its members. Donations to the Chai Annual Campaign are applied toward Pillar Circle Recognition.

General Fund

Donations to the Chai Campaign’s General fund assist in the general operating expenses of the Temple including assistance & scholarships to TAE families in need.


Eugene Marks Memorial Property Reserve Fund

Donations to the Chai Reserve Fund are used to support facility maintenance projects above and beyond those in the general operating budget.


The Finestone Family Library Fund

Your donations to the library support our ability to offer a wide selection of Jewish literature and bestsellers. You will find books for children and teens, sorted by holiday and reading level, as well sections of history, philosophy, contemporary issues, spirituality, bible, biography, prayer and reference.


Mazon Fund

A Jewish Response to Hunger is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing and alleviating hunger among people of all faiths. This the spirit of the national program this fund supports local food distribution programs.


Music and Choir Fund

Contributions to the Music and Choir Fund help purchase sheet music and supplies for our adult and junior choirs.


Social Action Tzedakah and Winter Shelter Funds

Donations to this fund benefit various charities in both the Jewish and secular communities. Past recipients include Hospice of the Conejo, American Red Magen David for Israel, Ronald McDonald House, and others. For information on the current beneficiary of this fund, please ask the Temple office or look at the sign on the Tzedakah box in the synagogue foyer.

Every winter, from December through March, TAE opens its doors to the neediest in our community by turning our social hall into a temporary shelter on Sundays. On these nights, we serve a hot meal to 50-80 people and provide overnight accommodation to 20-35 people. This takes an army of volunteers, and we welcome all the help we can get!


Youth Programming Fund

This fund benefits our Youth Department by providing scholarships to events, camps and Israel programs. It allows all youth to have access to the programs and activities at Temple.


Past Presidents' Educational Endowment Fund

Donations to this endowment will enable us to bring guest speakers and educational programs to our congregation. Each program sponsored is in honor of our past presidents.


Prayer Book Fund

Donations to the Prayer Book Fund help purchase additional prayer books for our Temple. Persons who donate to this fund may have a dedication printed in the back of the book.
